Nothing in general

What a blah, blah day today was? I guess it's been like this the whole week, in fact I think it's been like this for the whole 1st part of the year? I wonder why. Maybe it's just the winter blues and I need some sunshine. Who knows?!

Grandmom was suppose to have surgery on her eye today (she has melanoma) and the Doc wouldn't do it because it's so close to her eye and the cancer is spreading pretty darn fast. Grandmom says she can feel the tumors in her mouth, and on her head. It's just a matter of time but she's okay with this. She's in God's hands and she's at peace with the decision that she made. I just pray that she has no pain, that's all. So far it's working because she says the tumors aren't hurting her nor is she in any pain. Keep her in your prayers. It makes me very, very sad but I trust in the Lord that he will take care of her. It's all in his time, not mine. I've been trying to make sure to spend time with her on Granny Wednesday nights! :) She's just so sweet and she such an example of faith. I love her. One of the guys at work stopped me this morning and said that he didn't know that I knew Sarah. I said why of course she's my Grandma. He said she's just the nicest and sweetest little lady. He remembered going to her house at Christmas time (years ago!)to sing for her (the school kids did caroling in town). I told him I think she's pretty nice myself. Not that I'm biased or anything!

Gosh, I'm rambling. I haven't kept a journal in FOREVER. Like, since, maybe...we won't go there! Mitchell had a ball game tonight, talk about COLD. Good grief, Charlie Brown. It rained. Andrea (Jeff's sister) and Louise came to the game too. Annika was on the move! She's busy, busy, busy! She's just too precious. We're going to have a busy fall with 2 new babies. I'm excited about having a baby shower for Dawn. It's going to be a blast! Mitchell's team lost the game in the last inning. :( Oh well, there's one on Saturday. Weekend will be jammed packed with excitement! Enter inventory tags at 6:00 on Saturday (AUGH) won't get done till about 12:00, then run to Mitchell's ball game at 1:00. Who knows what's in store for Saturday evening. Sunday is "stamp" camp at Dawn's at 1:00. Then I'm sure I'll come home and pass out from exhaustion! :)
