The interesting side of life

Gosh, I guess I need to do a year in review! It's only been almost 6 months since I posted last. Hope my girlies are happy now!! You know who you are....

Let's see what's happened since July.....

July flew by....at the end of July beginning of August we do the annual C fishing trip to Lac Kipawa in Quebec. It's a week of roughing it. Really it isn't too bad, there is indoor plumbing and a shower in the cabin. The only bummer is that the electric is run off a generator and it's shut down @11:00. We have a great time. This year we had a girls boat and a guys boat. Talk about fun! Of course we did have only one man on our boat and that was the captain! You eat, fish, eat, fish and go to bed! :) Jeff was happy to have me on another boat because I'm a sissy and will not bait my own hook. Ewwww...gross me out!! Isn't that what a boyfriend is for?!

August...not too much happened. It flew by! Just plain old work, work, work!! I swear!

September...there was an addition to the S family...Baby Finn bounced into the world on the 15th. He's a cutie!! Miss Annika loves her brother. Another b-day has come and gone. 40...I still can't believe I'm not a forty something...augh...I found out that I have an under active thyroid, so I got to start taking medication on my birthday...if that doesn't depress you! The gal I work with had a suprise luncheon for me. It was very nice and so thoughtful of her. I got lots of flowers. It really was a nice day. Even if I was depressed!

October...there are lots of birthdays this month. We took Mitchell to Chuck E Cheese. He loves that place! It's just so noisy you about go cuckoo! There was an addition to the H family...Baby Anderson decided to make his entrance in October instead of November...He was born on October 29th. He, too, is a cutie pie! He has two pooches at home that couldn't wait to see him (Max & Libby that is).

November...not too much except work and Thanksgiving! Although the night before Turkey Day we were hit with a snow storm and my wonderful boyfriend came and got me, took me to the store to get my groceries for my food the next day! Isn't that wonderful?! I thought so. We went to Dad's for Thanksgiving and had a blast. We always do! :) I was on vacation the week after T-Day so it was fun. I went to lunch with friends I haven't seen in a while. I enjoyed it. I went to a movie (just me myself & I) to see HP4. Loved it. Most people freak out about going to the movies alone. Hey...why wait for someone to go with you. Let them gawk at you, who cares! I'm there to see the movie. Plus most of the movies I like, my other half doesn't!! I did the same thing with Star Wars. :)

December...can you believe it's almost over?! Yikes...it's unreal. I'm not ready for 2006. I guess it really doesn't matter if I am or not it'll be here regardless. I had the week of Christmas off so I was busy running around like a mad woman. I was in panic mode because some of my presents weren't here yet. I went to lunch with friends and then we did a little shopping. Then I put on lots of miles between my house and Canton! :) We had Christmas with Jeff's family on Christmas Eve. I was so fun. Mitchell couldn't take it much longer without tearing open his gifts. Annika...she's 2 and so darn cute. The little boys will be lots more fun next year, although they're both little snuggle bugs. :) We then had Christmas with my family at my cousins house. It was so nice!! We had tons of food! My girls are growing like weeds!! They each did a little Christmas diddy! Filled my heart with joy. Each of them are so talented. It's so wonderful. It was so fun this year, Dory made drawstring bags. We all have a dory original! I get so excited thinking of what good things Dory will make at Christmas. She has our grandmothers knack for crocheting. :) The other thing that really touched my heart was the collage that Jeff made with Gran and all of us together. I love her smile. It made me cry! I, of course, can't forget my jewels!! I'm stylin' baby!! I have Mel's orginal jewels and diamonds! LOVE them both!
It truly was a great Christmas and I enjoyed being with my family.

2006...Sigh...it's almost here...what will next year bring?! :) I hope lots of wonderful things! I should make one prediction...to do better at my blogs so that the 3 Y's don't beat me silly!! Love you all!!

Now to sign off...till.......................... :) :) :)
