Ah, I love Wednesdays. I don't know why? I think it's the middle of the week and it only two days left and it's the weekend. WOOHOO! I'm weird what can I say. :)
Gosh, I've got lots of things rattling around in my brain today. Let's see...to start my morning off today, I woke up late which did not make me very happy so of course you run around like a maniac, the cats look at you like - whoa lady...slow down! :) I just felt blah all day but then I got done with work at 3:30 so that perked me right up! HA!
Had a great show last night! My hostess was so sweet, we had a great chit chat while getting everything together. I love those moments where I'm not rushing around and you can visit and do a little bonding. She had great guests, we had a ball. They asked so many questions about old product. I've got to get on the website and research. She booked a party for August. So YAY!
Next month I'll find out what's coming for spring/summer!! Yippee!! Regionals or TS on tour is coming to Columbus...can't wait can't wait! I need regenerized. I'm just in a funk. Oh well, skys going to clear up put on a happy face... :)
I'm really getting hooked on the blogging stuff...fun fun! My friend at work talked me into subscribing to Google Reader, very cool plus then they recommend sites...so cool for the technically challenged. :)
I had to catch up last night on AI and NCIS (thank goodness for DVR!) - please help me understand why everyone can't get it in their head that when they ask you to stop singing STOP SINGING! For those friends out there that encourage their friends to go thru and embarass themselves in front of millions of people, shame on you! THEN they've got to fuss and cuss at the camera. I just want to yell - GET OVER IT! Anyhoo these are my favorite episodes. :-) Come on Hollywood!
Hollywood - in a manner of speaking...Heath Ledger...how sad, how terribly sad. What a waste, he was such a muffin. I feel so bad for his family, his daughter, his ex. I hope they can find peace. Say a prayer.
Last night on the way home I was listening to Everday Foods on the Martha Stewart channel on Sirius (LOVE my sirius...thank you my love) and they were talking about foods that remind of years past or like a family tradition - good or bad memory. This got me thinking of my family. Mind you, it's very small. I have one cousin on my Dad's side, two on my Mom's, My Aunt B (Dad's only sister)..love you! My Aunt J passed away in '89. Miss her...anyhoo...while my Gran was alive our menu (since I was a kid and I'm old!) was either Poorman's steak, pan fried chicken (my gran kicked tushy with the chicken!), dressing, mash pots with gravy (yours truly was the brown butter kid, thank you!!) veggies, date pudding (no one makes date pudding like my little Gran) tapicoa (I'll eat it only under diress! LOL!! Besides it leaves more for those the LOVE it...see how unselfish I am!) pies and the infinite SCHNITZ PIES! What a hoot it would be when the schnitz pies would come out, my dad would become a pit bull! Inventory was taken!! LOL!! It was Grandmom's labor of love. Brings back such good feelings...ok, I'm off track - Sorry!! We had brown heavy plates that would come out every holiday...sometimes she'd spice it up and we'd have the apple plates or the peach plates and the green glasses. What a great presentation it would be!! I loved holidays...then when we'd have turkey and ham at Thanksgiving, ham at Christmas her house would smell so good. I have the best childhood memories. I love my family!!
Here I go again, writing a novel!! Sorry to put you to sleep but I like to blab on and on! :)
Peace...
